Had an enjoyable day today in Marion, AL – didn’t see 47 people this time as we did on our first visit! Our project would be nothing without our wonderful student volunteers! On our trip today, a rather chilly day in Marion, were Rachel Lee (left), Beth Sims (center) and Maggie Spiegel (right).

Perry County Department of Public Health – Wow!
Today (Saturday September 17,2016) we went to the Perry County Public Health Department in Marion and completed a record number of hearing evaluations – 47 in total! On a good day we see 20 people. Forty-seven was unprecedented! Thanks to the assistance of two undergraduate students, Anna Claire Bailey and Ally Mitchell, were we able to successfully test this many people.
